Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples, an American actor and singer from the United States. She was awarded the best actress award for her performance in Nashville, the 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also received the award for Sharknado 2013 in which she portrayed Claudia Shepard. She also was in her role as Jerrica Jem in the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy & Ashley raised her at Lake Mary Florida. She is the younger sister of Ally. As a child, Aubrey took part in her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class in 2012. Harvard University was willing to admit her. However, she turned down the invitation twice. It was the second time that it was due to the fact that she wanted to play in Nashville. Peeples appeared as a guest star on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Austin and Ally Grey's Anatomy (2005), as well as a character who appeared in Necessary roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the made-for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was a part of the cast for a major recurring role in the second season of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples revealed her bipolar disorder in an interview she gave the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples to be one of the most talented actors younger than 20 in September of 2014.
