Sandrine Holt is born Sandrine Ho on the 19th of November 1972 in London. Her parents are an Chinese father as well as her French mother. When she was five, she moved to Toronto in Canada, and has been calling it home since then. She was catwalk models in Paris prior to becoming an actor. Annuka was her debut film role on screen in Black Robe from 1991. Her role in this film was nominated by her for the Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). The film Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed and she also made guest appearances for the roles of Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. For 22 seasons she portrayed a pivotal part in John Woo's The Thief. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. Both are available on DVDVHS. After a series of smaller roles in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway as well as other films, she was offered her first major role in which she was an actor in the lead role. Holt has appeared in numerous shows and films in addition to guests roles prior to this she was cast in a big part for herself in Hostages (2013) and the role in Netflix's House of Cards. Holt played Julie Han as part of the US remake The Returned and Dr. Bethany Exner.
